I started Sweet Salve Skin and Hair in 2020 because I was in search for a vegan skin product that did not contain toxins, chemicals, or parabens and everything marketed as natural products did not fit my standards. Creating a truly effective and all-natural product became something extremely important to me. Parabens, toxins, and other chemicals have been linked to many diseases such as alopecia, eczema, and cancer. These conditions are very personal to me and ultimately is what drove the creation of Sweet Salve. This product and life philosophy is dedicated to the loving memory of Loyce Fontenot.
